Program Director (Adult and Child)
 
Overview
This position is responsible for the overall administrative, programmatic, clinical and fiscal operations of the program through appropriate delegation of duties. The Director shall serve as the liaison with other programs and the community for referrals, intakes, transfers, discharges and public relations. The Director will manage the fiscal operations of the program including budget preparation, planning and management. The Director is responsible for supervision of all administrative staff and the coordination of their functions within the program. The Director shall plan, develop and implement new projects and program expansions. The Director shall coordinate the plans for various regulatory and government inspections. Job Status: Full Time
 
Requirements
Masterís degree from an accredited university or college in a mental health discipline such as: Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or Marriage and Family therapy; LPC, LCSW, LFMT, LSW preferred; Two to Five (2-5) years of related experience including two to three (2-3) years of program administration or supervisory experience

EDUCATIONAL SERVICES
The Children's Central Intake Unit is the gateway into our programs serving children between the ages of 3-17. The intake process begins with referrals via telephone or face-to-face contact and is accomplished by a comprehensive initial evaluation. Consumers and families are then referred to an appropriate service within the agency or to an outside agency.
The Adult Intake Unit is the entry point into adult outpatient services where an initial intake assessment is performed and followed with an evaluation provided by Masters level clinicians and licensed psychiatrists respectively. Adults can also be admitted into various programs by referral from DBH or CBH.
The Educational Services Division's Mission is to provide a safe and structured educational environment where children and adolescents can be nurtured. We bring passion and commitment to the children in our care and understand and appreciate their differences and challenges. We recognize the "diamond in the rough" and seek to resuscitate the resilient spirit within.
