Clinician/Therapist (Adult and Child)
 
Overview
Provide individual therapy to clients and their families utilizing various therapeutic modalities. Assess psychological needs of assigned clients. Develops, oversees the implementation and monitors behavior programs of assigned clients. Serves as a member of the clientís Interdisciplinary Team. Instructs staff in the implementation of individual behavior programs. Provides intensive therapeutic services to children in assigned settings. Collaborates with other members of the treatment team, designs and directs the implementation of a behavior modification intervention plan, which is individualized to each client and their family. Job Status: Fee For Service, Full Time (Adult)
 
Requirements
Masterís Degree from an accredited university in a clinical mental health discipline, such as: Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Psychiatric Nursing, and Marriage and Family Therapy. In order for a degree to count as a mental health degree, the degree must contain at least (12) credit hours in core behavioral health coursework as defined above.; At least two (2) years verified experience in the mental health field. Familiarity with a variety of clinical modalities, including individual, group, and family therapies plus frameworks such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and structural family therapy a plus.

EDUCATIONAL SERVICES
The Children's Central Intake Unit is the gateway into our programs serving children between the ages of 3-17. The intake process begins with referrals via telephone or face-to-face contact and is accomplished by a comprehensive initial evaluation. Consumers and families are then referred to an appropriate service within the agency or to an outside agency.
The Adult Intake Unit is the entry point into adult outpatient services where an initial intake assessment is performed and followed with an evaluation provided by Masters level clinicians and licensed psychiatrists respectively. Adults can also be admitted into various programs by referral from DBH or CBH.
The Educational Services Division's Mission is to provide a safe and structured educational environment where children and adolescents can be nurtured. We bring passion and commitment to the children in our care and understand and appreciate their differences and challenges. We recognize the "diamond in the rough" and seek to resuscitate the resilient spirit within.
